I've done some more beading. I thought I'd just post a few photos. More fringe, some triangles and some very interesting purple spheres that catch the light well. They positively glow!
Your photography shows your beads so beautifully! I've never worked with beads on quilts - well, really haven't worked with beads much at all but I do love them. It's exciting to keep up with what you're doing.
I've looked a little further back on your blog and your quilts are gorgeous. I especially like what you did for the library. That is just too cute. Thanks for your advice on the Sharpie. I started out with a Sharpie and then switched to Prismacolor markers which I use (I'm trying to learn how to draw.) I got on their website to see if they are permanent ink as the Sharpies are but couldn't find anything. The toll free # is a M-F kind of thing so I'll call. In the meantime, I went ahead and colored in the black Bs with those markers and I have one towel in the dryer now trying to heat set it and then I'm going to put it to soak in the sink and see what happens before I mail all those towels to my daughter. I used to paint clothing and you always were to heat set before you wash. I'll let you know what happens :)
It looks great. I can't wait to see it today.
ReplyDeleteLove, love the beads. These are gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteThanks! It's just one of those little pocket Canon cameras, but it has a macro setting. I think the photos look very Martha Stewart Living. :-)
